   WHO AM I

Born & Raised in North Idaho.

I moved to Washington to earn a degree at the University of Washington in Ethnic, Labor, and Gender Studies. After college I worked for a for-profit corporation that provided therapy for children and adults on the Autism Spectrum. After realizing that corporate life was not for me, I returned to my love of outdoors. It was after climbing Mount Shuksan and getting into rock climbing that I decided to take a two year "dirtbag sabbatical" where I traveled to climbing areas around the Pacific Northwest. Most recently, I lived at the Smith Rock State Park Bivy and Boise, Idaho.

After some soul searching, I returned to Washington and call Bellingham home with my other half, Paul, and our sweet rescue dog, Ellie. My goals are to get my Master's in Teaching and helping others with the stigma that comes with Mental Health Issues. My soul purpose on this site is to share my struggles with mental health and Endometriosis in hopes that it may help others. As well as, encourage others to fight to end the stigma and start the conversation about mental health in the United States.
